I'm Jon the Sea-Monkey® Dude.  I'm from Michigan and live with my wife, two sons, and a lot of pets.

I had "Sea-Monkeys®" a few times as a kid in the '90s and always thought they were neat.  Sadly, they never lived a long time for me back then.

Fast forward to 2020.  My kids and I decided to raise a Sea-Monkey® colony.  With the power of the internet and content on Reddit, YouTube, Facebook Groups, and more, I did tons of research on how to raise these little pets successfully.  They were going to be the perfect pets for my desk in my home office! 

I got the "Sea-Monkey® Executive Super-Sized Suite" for myself and we all loved it.  The kids decided they wanted their own colonies, so we quickly went from one to three tanks.  I've always been into collecting and Sea-Monkeys® seemed to be the perfect combination of fun, whimsy, and nostalgia.  I was hooked...

We now have several Sea-Monkey® colonies, most in Sea-Monkey® brand tanks and some DIY tanks including the  "World's Largest Sea-Monkey® Colony!"
